- —Barrier Bag
- —Humidity Indicator Card
- —Vacuum Sealing
WHERE CORROSION DAMAGE ACTUALLY SHOWS UP
Ordinary humidity and air exposure are enough to begin corrosion on unprotected metal surfaces, even in a closed warehouse.
Corrosion often starts on contacts and leads, areas that aren't checked until the component is actually installed or tested.
A component can pass storage and pass shipping, and still fail once it's connected and put into use.

Common Questions
Q: How long does VCI paper protect bare PCBs in storage?
A: Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) paper and film protect bare boards from oxidation and tarnish for up to 2 years inside a sealed box. VCI molecules vaporize and form a molecular barrier on copper solder pads without altering electrical conductivity or physical specs.
Q: Does VCI packaging leave residues that affect solderability?
A: No. Premium VCI formulations form a microscopic, monomolecular protective layer that naturally disperses into the air once the packaging is opened. It leaves no greasy or solid residues, ensuring solderability and bond integrity remain fully clean and compliant.
